In case you missed it, I shared my story of how I drove from Cincinnati to Nashville to get the truck of my dreams. While it might not look like much, we (my husband an I) totally see its potential and have some pretty big dreams for this 22-foot swat-looking big boxy vehicle.
When looking at trucks online, which felt like an eternity when sitting on the couch every night scrolling websites like Craigslist and UsedVending, this one in particular stood out for so many reasons.
It had low miles, was just the right size to transform into a jewelry truck, had a window (which I've never seen before in a truck like this) and the best part, it was already partially built out to become a mobile boutique.
While it was partially built out to become a mobile boutique for clothing, just from seeing the photos online, I knew that transforming it into a truck for my handmade accessories would definitely be possible!
Anyway, I'm excited to show you what the interior looks like. This is how I purchased it and so far, we haven't done any work to it. But as I mentioned, we have some pretty big plans!
Seriously, how CUTE are these little doors as you walk in?
This is what you will see to your left after entering through the french doors. There's a small area of storage over the wheel well and behind that is what would've been the fitting room. There's also a clothing rack, which we plan to remove and replace with some sort of shelving.
Can't wait to reupholster this seat!
This is the other side of the truck; looking right as you walk in. There's another deep shelf to match the other side, a storage bench, the window and a cash wrap.
This view from the cab of the truck really gives you the full picture of what the interior looks like. It's pretty awesome, right? And I absolutely am in love with the use of space.
Here's a little Facebook Live I did complete with commentary. And yes, the truck even came with a cassette tape player. Living large, my friends!
Next up on the list:
And the list keeps growing, but those are the main things I'm going to focus on for the time being. As I enter my busiest season of the year, I figure if I can start with these tasks, I can hit my list hard come next year!
