For this specific necklace, each stainless steel bar in the metal finish you prefer is laser engraved with a quote or short saying 

Available in silver, gold or rose gold, each necklace is made with a standard 16" chain complete with an additional 2" chain extender to ensure you find the most comfortable fit.

All of the jewelry created in the Tiny Treasure collection is made from surgical stainless steel, making it ideal for those with metal sensitivities. It will not tarnish, change color or turn your skin.

Also, the bars are professionally & custom engraved right here in-studio. Using a high quality industrial laser, the designs are permanent and will never fade or dull over time.
